We have been talking about it for the last couple of weeks. And we are nearly there! Everything is ready, we are ready, so are you. Or at least, we hope so!
Don’t you know what we are talking about? Oh well! There is this fantastic event going on since last, whose aim is to promote the wonderful artistic and cultural Italian heritage, through the new media. Lots of visits (called ditigal invasions) have been taking place into museums, churches and archeological sites thoughout Italy. And everybody can join in. To do what? Easy. To enjoy the visit and share the experience – in real time – through all the social channels available. Of course, we could not miss this great opportunity and we decided to organise a family-friendly invasion. Here, all the details about it.
Now, as you know, our kids invasion will take place on April 27th in Vicenza. The weather forecast does not look nice. So, we thought to make a few changes to the original programme in order to spend a fantastic day together, without getting soaked!
Programme of the day
11.0’clock: kick-off meeting @ entrace Park Verdii – this parking area is located only 200 mt from the train station.
11:3o am: kids-friendly visit to Barnarano Palace
12.15 pm: indoor pic-nic in Barbarano Palace and wokrkshop for the baby-invasors.
Above, the place where the picnic was originally planned to take place… if theweather was nice. Enjoy it at least through the picture…
1.45 pm: for those who have decided to join us only for the Teatro Olimpico invasion, meeting point with the morning group will be @ entrance of Chiericati Palace
2.00 pm: the Teatro Olimpico digital invasion will begin … with a little surprise for adults and kids alike!
3.00 pm: the Palladio Museum digital invasion will begin. Here, we will split in two groups. Monica will guide the kids group and Mr Marco Riva, one of the museum’s curators, will guide the adults group.
If the weather gets better, while going from the Theatre to the Museum, we will also have a fantastic Treasure Hunt along the wonderful streets of Vicenza.
